St. Leo Church offers a parish program of religious education which lays the foundation for children to become disciples of Jesus Christ. This is achieved through the celebration of the Sacraments, the study of Catholic teaching and the sharing of faith through scripture, prayer and experiences. Dedicated volunteers implement programs from kindergarten through eighth grade. They include catechists, aides and adult chaperones. Volunteers are encouraged to become certified as catechists through the Diocese of Venice.
The Religious Education Classes for Youth at St. Leo Catholic Church are scheduled on Sundays during the months of September through May. All Families who choose to participate in our Religious Education Program should be registered with St. Leo Church and provide copies of baptismal certificates for all registered students. A fee of $20 per child or $50 per family will be charged to cover the cost of books and materials. If you need financial assistance with this fee, please contact the parish office.
