The St. Leo Building Committee is exited to announce that the Parish Life & Education Center is in its final stage of completion. There are pending approvals from a couple inspections to get us to the finish line.
The Buildings look great and truly compliment the St. Leo the Great Campus. The Architect did a great job in designing the buildings to match the Mission style Architecture of our beloved St. Leo the Great Church. In the Parish Life Center we have the Grand Hall. The Grand Hall has a stage with theater sound and lighting system. The glow of light from the cupola along with the wood beams on the ceiling makes the Grand Hall truly magnificent. Also in the Parish Life Center we have a gift shop and a nice meeting room. The meeting room will have the warmth of a grand fireplace. There is also a deck with extends out from the Grand Hall and overlooks the lake and Education Center. The Parish Life building is connected to the Education building with a Mission style colonnade covered walk which extends into the Education Center courtyard. In the Education Center we have classrooms and a library with plenty of natural light as the windows look out to the lake on one side and on the other the courtyard. The Mission style courtyard has landscaping, pavers and a nice fountain in the center.
We are extremely pleased with how the Parish Life & Education Center turned out. There has been an extreme amount of positive support from St. Leo Catholic Church as well as the Diocese. Both the Architect (Architecture Inc.) and Builder (OAK) have done a great job throughout the entire process. It truly has been a pleasure working with them in such a special project. Their attention to detail and hard work is evident as you walk around the buildings. The committee is proud of the work done and looks forward to seeing the buildings enjoyed by the St. Leo the Great community.
