The Diocese of Venice is participating in the 40 Days for Life campaign being held in Naples this Lent from February 17 through March 28. In addition to 40 days of prayer and fasting for the end to abortion, please consider volunteering to peacefully pray outside of Planned Parenthood of Collier County located at 1425 Creech Road off Goodlette-Frank Rd. The dates and times that will be covered by St. Leo parishioners will be Tuesday, February 23 from 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., and Friday, March 26 from 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Car-pooling will be provided from in front of the Education Building (Juan Diego Center) every hour on the hour prior to our appointed times. The cars must leave on time to relieve the team praying the previous hour. It's a wonderful opportunity to personally have an hour of prayer in front of an abortion facility for mothers to have a change of heart.

If you have never been baptized, or you have been baptized in another faith, or if you have not completed the sacraments of First Communion and Confirmation – RCIA is an excellent opportunity for you to become acquainted with the teachings of the Catholic Church. Religious Education Registration
Registration is now available for the St Leo Religious Education Program 2009 – 2010!
Children in Pre-Kindergarten through High School are welcome and encouraged to attend and participate!
The St. Leo Religious Education Program uses the Loyola Press, “Finding God”, curriculum to help instruct the students of our Religious Education Program about: Church history & teachings, prayer life, sacramental readiness and how to live in the image of Christ! Our program meets from September through May on Sunday mornings. Classes begin September 20th from 9:30 to 10:30am.
