The 50th Anniversary Committee has planned and exciting year of events starting November 10, 2011, and concluding with a gala jubilation on November 17, 2012, celebrating St. Leo the Great’s Parish Golden Anniversary. The following monthly festivities are planned for everyone to enjoy.
Saturday February 11, 2012”: Casino Night
Enjoy an evening, from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., of Las Vegas style gambling provided by Show Bizz Productions.
Ticket price is $20 per person. Gambling money will be dispensed, light hors d’oeuvres served, and dancing throughout the night!
Casino amusement tables include: Black Jack, Poker, Roulette, Craps, slot machines and a Wheel of Fortune.
Friday’s during Lent, February 24, March 2, 9, 16 and 23, 2012: Fish Fry

Friday, March 30, 2012: Clambake

Wednesday, April 25, 2012: CCD Picnic
A picnic barbeque is being planned for the students at the end of the CCD season.

Sunday, June 17, 2012: Father’s Day Breakfast
Saturday, September 22, 2012: “MRM” Donor Recognition Dinner
Saturday, October 13, 2012: Ministries Recommissioning & Appreciation Dinner
Saturday, November 17, 2012: Golden Jubilee Anniversary
A concelebrated Mass, with the Bishop, will be held at 4:30 p.m., followed by a gala celebration in the Parish Life Center with dinner and dancing.

Commemorative items will also be available to purchase at all festivities throughout the Jubilee year, as well as in the gift shop.
Also, a commemorative book of St. Leo’s Parish history is being compiled and will be made available shortly after the close of the Jubilee year. The book will include memories of our founding members up to our current members and vibrant community.
The events have been chosen to give our parishioners an opportunity to share, celebrate and cherish a keepsake.
Charges for these events will serve to pay for the cost of the Jubilee activities.
The Jubilee Committee is still seeking chairpersons for the following: Decorating Chairperson, Prize Chairperson for Casino Night and Advertising/Marketing Chairperson for the Jubilee Commemorative Book.
