  Dear Friends of St Leo Parish,
As you know, our "Making Room For More" campaign was extremely successful, and we have indeed made room for more. Our church is full and we enjoy the opportunity to worship and celebrate the Eucharist with so many wonderful people!
Now, our new Parish Life & Education Center is well underway and we are on to our next challenge; to raise enough funds to properly furnish and equip our new Parish Life & Education Center.
Our Parish Life and Education Center will be a wonderful building, covering over 37,000 square feet of space. In our new Life Center you will find: an assembly hall which will accommodate 500 people for dining, or 800 seated for presentations (or additional Masses when needed), a stage, a large meeting room with fireplace and a patio overlooking our lake. Our Education Center will house 14 new classrooms, a library, and a large children's playroom! Father Stan's dream is that this center will be an important part of our parish life, and that parishioners both young and old, will experience a true sense of community while at St. Leo Parish.
Some of the many uses of our Parish Life & Education Center will include:
- Increased faith formation for adults & children
- Retreats & Spiritual Conferences
- Prayer Groups
- Community Outreach Groups such as: Families Helping Families, Alcoholics Anonymous, Drug-Anon, Thanksgiving Dinners
- Wedding receptions
- Sacramental Celebrations
- Ministry Meetings - Liturgical, Spiritual, Respite
- Grief Support
- Widow/Widowers Group, Singles Group
- Social gatherings for the Knights of Columbus or the Ladies of St. Leo's
In order to complete this project, consistent with the quality and beauty of our Church, our Capital Campaign leadership team is asking for the prayerful sacrifice of $1.5 million dollars from our parish community. These monies will complete the interior of our building, as well as provide the necessary equipment and furniture to make our Parish Life & Education Center beautiful and functional. Please prayerfully consider how you can be an active partner with your faith community, in completing this project which our parish family needs, deserves and will appreciate!
